YourTrump.co.uk was created in May 2008 with one main objective, to create a database of local reliable companies which the public could use to help them avoid that 'Rogue Trader'.

Having felt the pinch of the 'Rogue Trader' ourselves we decided the area needed something it could call upon, something you could trust when choosing a professional to do your work.

Created by two locals from Harrogate the idea was simple:

We would ask businesses to sign up to our website and let their customers tell the public how good their work was. We would do all the ground work and would advertise in the local area encouraging the public to use our website.

YourTrump.co.uk proved successful and we currently provide the Harrogate and District area with over 500 search results for all trades and towns.

Our statistics prove that on average over 50 local people a day are using our website to look for reliable companies.

We have recently ran some public research and have found that the public now believe that our list of companies is too big and that it should be cut smaller to a specialist list of the best companies in the area.

After giving this some thought and discussion we agreed that this was an improvement that we would perform and we are now in the process of making changes to our website.

To help us find the best companies locally we are currently visiting the local merchants asking for recommendations, companies we can trust to be on our website.

To further improve our website we are also asking the merchants to put their names on our website and to sponsor certain sections of it.

Soon we will be able to bring you the best of the best, we will only be listing 10 companies per trade and town.
