Team YourTrump to tackle the Knaresborough Bed Race

YourTrump.co.uk has this week received confirmation that our place in this years Knaresborough bed race has been accepted.

Sponsoring the team that was T&G Dream Team from last year the trump team are this year hoping for a top ten finish under the new YourTrump name.

New Website Launch

YourTrump.co.uk is pleased to have our new and improved website up and running live. Since starting this website back in May 2008 we have been supported by the local public / merchants who have helped provide some great improvements to the service we offer and these can be be seen as you explore our new site. This is just the start of things to come from YourTrump.co.uk and we are looking forward to another increased year with registered businesses and usage from the general public. Along with our new website we are currently involved with a large advertising campaign which includes advertising on 97.2 Stray FM and many other local events.

We would again like to thank everyone for their support and great ideas over the years and we hope you like the new website, please keep an eye out for new added features.

GH Brooks and EPS Sponsor YourTrump!

I am pleased to announce that GH Brooks and EPS of Harrogate have joined our site as sponsors.

GH Brooks, builder's merchants for the Harrogate area will be sponsoring our Building Contractors, Patio/Paving & Driveways, Plastering and Roofing Contractors section for the town's of Harrogate and Pateley Bridge.

Electrical Plumbing Supplies (EPS) of Harrogate will be sponsoring our Electrician and Plumbing sections for Harrogate.

Both companies have recommended to us a list of reliable companies that they have worked with over the years. We are now in the process of calling these companies to ask if they would like to join either the GH Brooks or EPS sponsored sections.

YourTrump Changes!!!

All, 

We have recently ran some public research and have found that the public now believe that our list of companies is too big and that it should be cut smaller to a specialist list of the best companies in the area.

After giving this some thought and discussion we agreed that this was an improvement that we would perform and we are now in the process of making changes to our website.To help us find the best companies locally we are currently visiting the local merchants asking for recommendations, companies we can trust to be on our website.To further improve our website we are also asking the merchants to put their names on our website and to sponsor certain sections of it.

Soon we will be able to bring you the best of the best, we will only be listing 10 companies per trade and town.Keep an eye on our news page for further developments.

YourTrump Ratings Boost!!!

Update: Since May we have now recorded over 23,000 Website Hits.
We are now also able to offer the local public over 350 search results in all towns and trades.

New Call Back Feature

YourTrump.co.uk has today released it's new 'Call Back' feature.
This allows members of the public to request a Call Back from the tradesperson they require.
A simple click of a button will allow the public to leave us details of any work they require. We will then pass this information onto the company.

New Milestone - YourTrump reaches 1000 Visits!!!

The total number of people to have visited the site since our launch day is now over one thousand. A huge thank you to everybody out there.

The Great Knaresborouhg Bedrace

The Great Knaresborough Bedrace is a historic local event that see's 50+ beds compete in a 2 mile race around the town of Knaresborough. The highlight of the race is at the finish when all the teams have to try and get their bed across the River Nidd without sinking. The bed (on wheels) is pushed by 6 individuals with 1 person sitting on it.

Yourtrump.co.uk are proud to be taking part in this charity event by sponsoring a team of local girls (Team 17) who will be bravely stepping up to the challenge on Saturday 14th June. 

All of us here at yourtrump.co.uk would like to wish the girls good luck and ask anyone who see's them in the race to give them a big cheer...and maybe some water.

Website Launch

On Wednesday 30th April 2008 yourtrump.co.uk was launched. We have been working on this site for quite a while now so we hope you like it.

As you are aware this site is completely free to use and will only get better as more businesses join our directory, and as more reviews are left for you. So please spread the word.
